The Army Quartermaster Foundation, Inc. is organized and incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a non-profit, tax-exempt, educational organization.  The Foundation, since its inception in 1954, has provided additional resources to support the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum at Fort Lee, VA in its mission “to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret history of the Quartermaster Corps from 1775 to the present.”  Our support to the Museum Director and his staff includes all four components of his mission – collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of artifacts and historical documents.  The resources we provide include people, time and money.  These resources provided by the Foundation extend the director’s capabilities beyond those covered by government resources, particularly in the areas of artifact purchases, facilities expansion and enhancement, and educational outreach beyond the gates of Ft Lee.

Our Board of Directors extends an open invitation to all Quartermasters and Friends of the Quartermaster Corps to join us in helping to preserve a top rated museum with first class programs.  Whether it is contributions of your time, your talents, or your treasures (hopefully all three), your Army Quartermaster Foundation needs every Quartermaster or Friend of the Corps to do whatever you are able.  Remember, it’s your museum, and it’s your story.  But don’t take my word for it.  Come visit your museum, and see for yourself.  You won’t be disappointed.  In fact you’ll be amazed.  By the way, if you let us know when you’re coming to visit, we will arrange a personal tour just for you and your party.  I hope you will catch the museum spirit like I did 25 years ago.  If you can’t make it to Ft. Finally, please understand for your Foundation to continue to be successful, we need all Quartermasters (Regulars, Reservists, Guardsmen, and DA Civilians whether active or retired) to do their part.  Our Quartermaster Museum has considerable untapped potential which can be fulfilled with your help.  Make the Army Quartermaster Foundation part of your annual giving of both time and money.  As I suggested in the title of this message, the participation of every Quartermaster is necessary and important for the continued success and growth of our great Museum in telling the Quartermaster Story.  Please join us and share in the success.
